Simply Divine Garden will be participating in the MLK Challenge sponsored by the College of Charleston on Monday, January 18, 2010. The College will honor the like and legacy of of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, by sending teams of students into the community to complete the "challenge" project submitted by a local non profit agency.
Fifteen teams with about 10 students each are provided withonly $75.00 and a van. They have six hours to complete a service project with a community organization.
The team will take on a garden for Suzanne T.in Summerville. Not only will they give her a new front garden, the challenge for them will be finding plants that can survive in a very wet spot.
